Carpenter with Acoustical Ceiling Experience

A commercial contractor has projects throughout the state of Wisconsin. The majority of projects are in the Kenosha and Milwaukee areas. Per diem for out-of-area projects, as allowed by union contract specifications.

Qualified individuals will be required to: Pass a pre-employment drug screen, allow background checks and provide a Valid Driver's License. Communicate respectfully with customers and fellow employees.

Postorino is a union contractor. Starting wages are $15.00 for helpers and up to full union scale depending on experience level. According to the union contract agreement, the apprentice to Journeyman Scale includes pension and health coverage. We seek a qualified and reliable carpenter to assist with various construction projects. The individual must have a background in carpentry, be capable of working independently, be familiar with various tools and machinery, and be able to assist our team with multiple carpentry tasks. The successful candidate for this position will have experience working on construction sites and will also be responsible for using proper safety procedures.

Full Time:

• 8-10 Hours shifts, project dependent

• Monday to Friday, some Saturdays, as required for project schedules

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift

• 8 hour shift

• Day shift

• Monday to Friday

• Overtime

• Weekend availability

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

• Wisconsin: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• In person

Responsibilities:

• Installation of Acoustical Ceilings

• Drywall Installation

• Misc. Carpentry Tasks as assigned by Project Manager

Requirements:

• Carpentry: 2 years (Required)

• License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)

• Acoustical Ceiling: 1 year (Required)
